Hello!
We're now on our way to California in our rented car. We've been driving for 2 hours and we're already bored. The drive is about 42 hours from New York to California. We've only got 40 hours left!
In about 10 hours we're going to check in to a hotel and continue our drive in the morning.
Yesterday we really enjoyed our last day in New York. New York is great for shopping. Everything is so much cheaper that it is in Sweden. We bought as much as we could bear.
Later that evening we went to the well-known restaurant called Hooters. Even though the restaurant is more famous for the waitresses in the tight shorts we really enjoyed the food as well.
Afterward we just went for a walk. We walked for hours and just studied the city. We know that we will miss it in a few weeks so it felt good to really say goodbye to it.

The Big Apple
Hey! Today we bought tickets to the big apple. It's a helicopter-ride that takes us over the entire New York. We saw for instance the Statue of Liberty. It was a beautiful view. New York was a lot bigger than we expected. We feel that we've seen the most important things in New York and have decided to drive to California in the morning. Today we are just going to enjoy our last time in New York. We are later on going out for shopping.

An awesome day
Hello!
Today we spent the day to explore New York. We concluded that there wasn't a better way exploring New York then to see it from the Empire State building. We woke up early and bought tickets that made us able to skip the queue. Before we got there we stopped by a little breakfast restaurant right next to our hotel. They served the best coffee we'd ever had, I think we drank 4 cups each.
Afterwards we drove to the Empire State building. It was real hard to find a parking spot. We had to park a couple of blocks away. It was really crowded. We we're lucky that we got those tickets that made us able to skip the queue because otherwise we would had to queue for hours.
The view was amazing. We got all the way up to the 86 floor, 320 meter up in the air. It was a spectacular view of Manhattan. We saw everything from the Times square to the Statue Of Liberty.
Unfortunately the coffee started to kick in and we had to find a restroom.
We went back to our hotel to relax for a while. We bought tickets to a N.Y Rangers game. For dinner we went to KFC as they doesn't have that in Sweden, and man it tasted good. Afterwards we went to the hockey-game. We're both interested in hockey so it was a nice experience to watch hockey at such a high level, and of course, we're both big Rangers-fans.
That's all we did today. Now we're just hanging back in our hotel. Tomorrow we're just going to hang out in central park. We'll update when we're visiting something more interesting.

Airport
Hello guys. Today me and Rickard have been at the airport, waiting for our flight. We got there 3 hours earlier than necessary, just to be sure we wouldn't miss it. We had to wait for a long time, it felt like a year.
We took a flight to New York. When we arrived we rented a car and went to our hotel. The hotel is located near the central park. We choose that hotel because we love the tv-series "Friends" and it takes place right next to the park.
It was already noon so we just put our baggage in the hotel room and went out for a bite. We went to a steakhouse that was kind of close to our hotel and ate there. Tomorrow we're going to wake up early and explore the city.
